This Privacy Policy explains how Clina (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the Clina mobile application (the “App”). We built Clina with a privacy-first architecture: the App analyzes your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events and reminders locally on your device. The content of these items is never uploaded to our servers.

The following data is accessed, analyzed and stored only on your device. We do not receive, copy or transmit the contents of these items:
You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Revoking a permission will disable the corresponding feature of the App.
To understand how the App is used and to improve it, we collect a limited set of analytics events through Firebase Analytics (a service provided by Google LLC). Typical events include app launches, onboarding progress, scan and cleanup completion, paywall interactions and successful purchases. Parameters attached to these events include the product identifier of a purchased subscription, its price and currency, but never the content of your photos, contacts or calendars.

The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the IDFA for advertising.
Purchases of Clina Pro (weekly, monthly or yearly subscription) are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information directly under its own privacy terms. We receive only the product identifier, purchase status and, for analytics, the price and currency of the transaction. Receipt validation is performed locally on your device using the StoreKit framework.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
On-device data (photos, contacts, calendar events, reminders) is retained on your device for as long as you keep it there. Firebase Analytics events are retained by Google for up to 14 months, after which they are automatically deleted, unless aggregated into non-identifying statistics.
Clina is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@clina.app. We do not collect enough personally identifying information to identify you by name, so please include the approximate date of your request and your device model so we can locate the relevant app-instance identifier.
Because the sensitive data (photos, contacts, calendar, reminders) never leaves your device, it is protected by the security model of iOS, including Data Protection and Keychain where applicable. Analytics traffic to Firebase is transmitted over HTTPS.
Firebase Analytics is provided by Google LLC and may process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the App you acknowledge that analytics data may be transferred to and processed in these countries.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when it was last revised. Significant changes will be announced within the App.
