Terms of Use

By downloading or using Dual Translate ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

Subscriptions

Dual Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription with weekly, monthly, and yearly options. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Eligibility for an introductory offer is determined by Apple and applies once per subscription group.

Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to translate content that is unlawful, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the translation services the app relies on. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials into the app.

Translation quality

Translations are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The app is not a substitute for a professional human translator. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical communication.

Availability

Online translation depends on third-party services and network connectivity, and may be unavailable or change without notice. Offline translation requires downloading Apple language packs and is subject to the languages Apple supports on your device.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including losses caused by an inaccurate translation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version is always on this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
